1. Introduction

Urban Design refers to the design work that takes the city as the research object, which is a kind of design between urban planning, landscape architecture and architectural design. With respect to the urban planning of abstraction and data, urban design is more specific and graphical; however, because after the middle period of the 20th century, the practice of urban design is mostly for landscape design and architectural design to provide guidance and reference architecture and with the specific landscape design or architectural design differ.

Urban design is a subject which is concerned with the layout of urban planning, urban appearance and function, and is especially concerned with the public space of the city.
