Anhui Medical University has over 30 hospitals for students practicing across the country, among those 11 affiliated hospitals and 5 directly affiliated to the university, including the First Affiliated Hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital and the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital. The First Affiliated Hospital
The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, largest integrated teaching hospital of Anhui Province, is a complex of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and rehabilitation, first aid, and emergency base of medical treatment in Anhui Province. It was set up in1926, now ranking first in Anhui Province.
The hospital now opens 2825 beds, 41 clinical departments, 19 medical laboratories, 26 clinical teaching and research departments; daily outpatient visits more than 2.62 million, receiving more than 1000 interns and refresher doctors.
