China Academy of Art locates near to beautiful West Lake, quiet and beautiful, it’s a great place for study and creation of Art. Since 1980, China Academy of Art is qualified to admit international students, and about 4000 international students have studied in the university. Now there are about 600 international students from 90 countries are studying here. The China Academy of Art is the first tier of institutions to accept students who are recipients of Chinese government scholarship and Zhejiang provincial government scholarship. The Academy also awards matching stipends for the Zhejiang provincial scholarship recipients.
International College of China Academy of Art which is located in Nanshan campus, responsible for international students’ study and life issues, is committed to carry forward Chinese traditional culture, promote international artistic and cultural exchange. Every year CAAIC holds several-week training courses of Chinese culture and art many times.
