School of International Education (SIE) of Dalian University of Technology, founded on March 8, 2013, is a multifunctional administrative and academic unit responsible for the admission, education, and management of international students. Until now, there are more than 700 international students studying here. International students actively participate in school activities and make their school life becoming more colorful.
Dalian University of Technology has built steady long-term relationships with 192 universities and research institutes in 27 countries and regions from all over the world, such as Technische Universitaet München in Germany, Durham University, University of Illinois at Chicago, Ghent University, Technical University of Denmark and etc. 339 well-known foreign scholars and professors are hired for researching and lecturing. In recent years, academic exchange oversea amounts more than 1600 times every year.
