Admission at East China Normal University for International Education

 

East China Normal University admits international students for master’s degree in its English taught masters programs: (i) Anthropology (ii) Statistics (iii) International Graduate Program in Politics

 

1. Qualification for applicant 

 

(1). Applicants for Master’s degree must have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent  

(2). Provide other necessary documents concerning their academic achievement

 

2. Application Materials 

 

(1). Application Form

(2). Four two-inch photos

(3). Three letters of recommendation from professors at or associate professor At least one of the letters should be from a member of the department at your undergraduate/graduate college or someone familiar with your academic abilities in your major and your potential for completing a graduate program.

(4). Scan copy of your valid passport (passport type must be ordinary).

(5). Scan copy of notarized Bachelor’s degree and Academic transcripts 

(6). A study or research plan. All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English and no less than 800 words.

 

3.Study Duration &Tuition Fee:

 

Masters degree takes 2-3 years 

A tuition fee is 25,000 CNY/Year - 50,000 CNY/Year

East China Normal University admits international students for Doctoral/PhD degree in its English taught program: (i) International Graduate Program in Politics

 

1. Qualification for applicant 

 

(1). The program is open only to foreign nationals. 

(2). The applicant must possess a formal master degree recognized by the Ministry of Education of China, and demonstrate an ability to pursue independent academic research in the area of study as proposed by him/her. Due consideration will be given to the relevance between the applicant’s educational backgrounds and working experiences on one hand, and the proposed research area on the other.
