Hainan Medical University (HMU) has 26 undergraduate medical majors in several department and colleges. The university has offered international students various medical majors including Clinical Medicine, dental medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Nursing. The total enrollment at present is over 20,100 students, including 10,984 full-time students, and 344 overseas students. International students can conduct their internship in the last year of medical courses; students may choice one of the following hospitals: the General Hospital of Chinese People’s Liberation Army, the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University, Xiangya Hospital of Central-south University and West China Hospital of Sichuan University.
