Huazhong University of Science and Technology admits international students in 2 specialties taught in English: (1). Telecommunication Engineering (2). Machine Design Manufacturing and Automation
1. Qualification for Applicants
(1). Non-Chinese Passport holders (Applicants should hold the passport above 4 years and receive his/her latest 2 years education outside of China);
(2). Applicants for Bachelor’s degree should be Senior high school graduates or above and under the age of 30;
(3). Good command of English; TOEFL, GRE, IELTS or other official recognized test holders are preferred.
2. Application Materials
(1). Application Form;
(2). One scan copy of the applicant’s passport (clearly scanned color copies);
(3). Scan copy of an official certificate of the applicant’s highest education; or scan copy of an official Certificate of Enrollment for the ones still on campus (clearly scanned color copies);
(4). Official transcripts (clearly scanned color copies);
(5). Statement why you choose the program;
(6). Scan copy of English proficiency certificate: TOEFL, GRE, IELTS or other official English test recognized by HUST (English native speakers are exempted).
Note that all certificates or diplomas issued in the third language should be notarized in Chinese or English editions. The original copies must be provided to HUST for verification at the students’ registration in September.
