Medical internship or clinical rotation is necessary for international students who studying MBBS at Hubei University of Medicine. The last year for MBBS is internship after five years’ basic medicine and clinical medicine courses studies.

These hospitals and professional bases fulfill their functions and perform their duties in clinical treatment, research, teaching, and courses of study. For example, The First Affiliated Hospital undertakes undergraduate, specialized teaching task and postgraduate training work of Hubei University of Medicine. Currently, there are 3540 beds and 5,000 employees, of which 687 are senior professional technical staff, 940 doctorate and master degree students, and 6 are experts in special allowance of the state council.
