In collaboration with Chinese Government through Ministry of Education, Hunan provincial Government, Hunan Normal University accepts and provides scholarships for excellent foreign students. The following scholarships that foreign students can apply for:
1) Hunan Provincial Government scholarship
2) Hunan University excellent foreign students scholarship
1. Hunan Provincial Government Scholarships for outstanding International Student
The Provincial Excellent Foreign Students Scholarship is provided by the Hunan Province and is given to the outstanding foreign students. Those students will be rewarded one year scholarship.
The application materials must include:
(1) Application form
(2) The scan copy of the highest diploma and transcripts. (Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English)
(3) Photocopy of the passport
(4) Scan copy of Health certificate
(5) Letters of recommendations from two professors or associate professors of the applicant’s universities or colleges. (For master student and doctoral student only).
2. Hunan Normal University Excellent Foreign Student Scholarship
The university excellent foreign student scholarship is provided by HNU and is given to excellent foreign students. The winner of this scholarship can be used for tuition.
Requirements:
Applicants must be international students who have been formally registered in HNU for one or more than one year. Applicants must be of explicit learning purpose, serious learning attitude and diligence, good attendance in class and good academic performance. They must exemplarily obey Chinese laws and rules, as well as HNU regulations.
