Accommodation in Inner Mongolia University, China

Inner Mongolia University offers international students on-campus accommodation with reasonable room rate. Single rooms and double rooms are available to overseas students. The foreign student dormitories are well equipped, the equipment include shared kitchen, bathroom with every room, desk, telephone, computer internet interface. Free bedding articles cover bedding and mattress, sheet, blanket and so on.

Regulations of international students’ department

1. Property management office of college of international education is responsible for helping students in IMU to handle accommodation procedures and pay accommodation fee.

2. International students should abide by the regulations of the Department. When entering the department, students should show valid certificates such as student ID or passport.

3. Students should care public equipment of classroom and dormitory, if any damage happens, it should be paid with setting price.

4. It is not allowed to paste any picture, slogan and advertisement in the dormitory, class room and in the corroder. Any painting is also not allowed. It is banned to smoke in the class room and dormitory.

5. When leaving the dormitory and class room, students should check water and power switch. If emergency happens because of not turning off water and power, students should be responsible for the emergency.

6. Keep the room clean and put the items in order. It is not allowed to cook and boil water in guest room.

7. It is not allowed to change rooms and beds. It is banned to let other people stay in the room especially people of opposite sex.

8. Safety utilization of electric power, it is not allowed to use power privately, do not use high-power electrical appliance; pay attention to fire safety.

9. Don't make noise; without permission of school teachers it is banned to hold any large activities.

10. Comply with the work and rest time: The classroom is open to 7:00-23:00,including Saturday and Sunday. Except above time, it is not allowed to stay in the classroom and do not stays in classroom for whole night.

11. When using kitchen please be careful and keep it clean. The gas in should be used correctly. In case of leakage, after using gas please turn off and carefully check it.

12. Take good care of your cash and valuables. If carrying any valuable articles, students should go to school register it.

13. If in need of washing bedding article or cleaning the room. Please have contact with school office.

14. Visitors should register with personal ID, and meet visitors at required time. If there is need to meet visitor in the dormitory, the visitor should gain the agreement of doorkeeper. Meeting is limited with one hour, and after11:00 pm no visitor at all.
