Admission at Jinan University, China for International Education

JNU admits foreign students in 6 specialties taught in English: Accounting, Computer Science and Technology, Finance, Food Quality and Safety, International economics and trade, International Journalism

 

1. Qualification for applicant

 

(1). Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and be in good health.

(2). The new TOEFL score of not less than 80 points or IELTS score of not less than 5.5 or have the relevant evidence which English is the language of instruction during the University. Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempted from this requirement. 

 

2. Application material:

 

(1). Scan copy of BEC/GMAT/GRE/TOEFL /IELTS score (if applicable) 

(2). Application Form 

(3). Notarized highest diploma (in Chinese or English). 

(4). Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy in Chinese or English). 

(5). Scan copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form 

(6). Non-criminal Record shall be submitted upon request. 

(7). Scan copy of passport bio page 

(8). Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the legal documents of their legal guardians in China. The applications will be regarded as invalid and will not be accepted if they fail to meet the enrollment requirements or the application documents are incomplete.

 

3. Duration and tuition Fees:

                                                                                                                                                                                           

All undergraduate programs at Jinan University take 4 years.

Tuition fees vary from 28,000-32,000CNY/YEAR for the student’s admitted in bachelor degree programs.

JNU master programs include China studies and Business administration

 

1. Qualification for applicant

 

(1). A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 (or 90 for the IBT) or higher; or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 or higher is required. Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempted from this requirement.

(2). Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree or above.

 

2. Application material:

 

(1). Scan copy of BEC/GMAT/GRE/TOEFL /IELTS score

(2). Application Form 

(3). Scan copy of Notarized highest diploma 

(4). Scan copy of Academic transcripts

(5). A personal statement (around 1000 words), including study or/and work experience and research plan

(6). A scan copy of passport bio page 

(7). Letters of recommendation by two experts (Associate Professor or higher) in applicants’ major field 

 

3. Duration and tuition Fees: 

 

Master programs at Jinan University take 2 years.

Tuition fee is about 30,000CNY/YEAR admitted in China studies, 39,000 CNY/YEAR in Business administration.
