Medical Internship at Medical College of Qingdao University, China
There are 7 affiliated hospitals and 5 teaching hospitals, 18000 beds available for practice teaching. For MBBS students, the last year is for internship or rotation after 5 years’ theory study. Internship is rather important to acquire MBBS.
The teaching quality of this school is very good. Some affiliated hospitals which are equipped with advanced equipment also give the students more chances and resources to practice. Such measures are beneficial for the students to have access to more kinds of patients, and get to understand the real situation after leaving medical theory classes. To a certain degree, practice is even more important than some knowledge from the book.
