Admission at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China for International Education

NJUST admits foreign students in 9 specialties taught in English: Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, International Economics and Trade, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Nano Materials and Technology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.

 

1. Qualification for applicant 

 

1. High school graduation or equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate

2. Efficient English language skills 

TOEFL 80 or IELTS 5.5(Native English speakers or graduates from high school where English is an official teaching language are exempt from TOEFL or IELTS) 

3. under the age of 24

 

2. Application materials 

 

1. Application Form

2. Scan copy of Passport (including the valid visa page if you are already in China)

3. Scan copy of diploma or certificate of the last school you have attended

4. High school academic transcript 

5. TOEFL or IELTS scores (Native English speakers or graduates from high schools where English is an official teaching language are exempt from TOEFL and IELTS scores.) If you don’t have any TOEFL or IELTS scores, an official letter from your high school to prove your English level is then necessary. 

6. CV/Resume

7. Motivation Letters (Why do you want to go to China? Why do you want to study this major? A study plan and goals for your bachelor years and etc) 

8. Scan copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (printed by Chinese quarantine authority). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid.

 

3. Duration and tuition Fees: 

 

All undergraduate programs at Nanjing University of Science and Technology take 4 years.  

Tuition fees are 19,800CNY/YEAR for the student’s admitted in all the majors.

NJUST masters program has different options taught in English including Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, International Trade, Power Engineering & Engineering Thermophysics, Mechanics, Control Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Civil Engineering, Social Sciences, Materials Science and Engineering.

Masters degree takes 2-3 years in all programs
