Master Degree/Postgraduate/PG Programs in English Medium:
Master’s programs at Northwest A&F University admit international students in English taught courses which lead to Master degree including Agricultural Economics and Management, Plant Science.
1. Applicant Qualification
(1) In good health; non-Chinese passport holder;
(2) Bachelor degree holder or above in agricultural economics and management or related majors;
(3) IELTS of a minimum score of 6.0 overall, TOEFL iBT of a minimum score of 90 overall, evidence of equivalent English proficiency.
2. Application Materials
1) Application Form;
2) Scan copy of the highest diploma, which should be certified in Chinese or English;
3) Scan copy of certificate of the language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL); The English proficiency certificate could be exempted for the applicants from English speaking countries, applicants who take English as medium of instruction in university are no need to provide the certificate, but proof of English as medium of instruction is needed
4) Scan copy of certified official academic transcripts;
5) Scan copy of two academic recommendation letters in Chinese or English from scholars of associate professorship or higher (must show referee’s phone number and email address on the letter);
6) Scan copy of your valid national passport;
7) Scan copy of Physical Examination form. If you are already in China, the valid visa page is required;
8) 2 passport-sized latest photo.
9) Scan copy of published papers, abstracts, or other materials which can prove your ability to research ability.
10) Scan copy of personal profile. about 1000 words for Master applicants, written in Chinese or English. Content should include personal study, work experience, academic research, master program, etc.
3. Duration and Tuition Fees
All the Master degree programs at Northwest A&F University take 3-4 years.
Tuition fees are 26,000 CNY/Year.

Doctoral Degree/PHD Programs in English Medium
Doctorate programs at Northwest A&F University admit international students in English taught course “Agricultural Entomology and Pest Control” which lead to doctorate degree.
1. Applicant Qualification
(1) Under 40 years old; in good health; non-Chinese passport holder;
(2) A Master’s degree with a research thesis is required; Students with background in entomology and related disciplines are encouraged to apply for our program;
(3) IELTS of a minimum score of 6.0 overall, TOEFL iBT of a minimum score of 90 overall, evidence of equivalent English proficiency.
