School of Medicine Jinan University accomplished registration at the United Nations world health organization (WHO) in March 1984, and then the graduates can directly apply for “clinicians’ license registration examination” all over the world, establishing the export- oriented school’s international status. Jiangmen Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (formerly known as Jiangmen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital), established in 1958, has become a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, research, education, disease prevention, health care and rehabilitation. The hospital attaches great importance to education and research. It has 3 master degree candidates tutors, 34 part-time full professors or associate professors. In 1997, the hospital passed the assessment as a “Guangdong Province Education Base of Medical Institutions of Higher Learning” and accepts per year over 360 probators in medicine, nursing, pharmacy and technology, from over 10 medical institutions of higher learning such as the Medical College of Jinan University, Hong Kong University and other medical universities and colleges.
