Shanghai University of Finance and Economics admits international students for master’s degree in its English taught masters programs: (1) International Business (2) LL.M (3) Finance
1.Qualification for applicant
(1)Should be non-Chinese citizens in good health
(2)Must be between the ages of 18 and 45 with a bachelor’s degree and in good health
(3)Non English native speakers should pass IELTS test (above 6.5 points)
2.Application Materials
(1)Application Form
(2)Scan copy of a valid passport
(3)Scan copy of notarized diploma and degree certificate (in Chinese or English translation is demanded if the original version is in other languages). For those who are about to graduate, a certification of expected graduation is also acceptable
(4)Scan copy of notarized transcript of academic records during Bachelor study (in Chinese or English translation is demanded if the original version is in other languages)
(5)Scan copy of English language level certificate, above 550 (paper based) and 80 (computer based) in TOFEL or 6.5 in IELTS for Non English native speakers
(6)Personal statement, written in English, which includes education and work experience, research results and a study plan
(7)Recommendation letters in Chinese or English from two professors or associate professors
3.Study Duration &Tuition Fee:
Masters degree takes 2 years
A tuition fee is 25,000 CNY/Year – 35,000 CNY/Year

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics admits international students for Doctoral/PhD degree in its several English taught programs: (1) Law and Finance
1. Qualification for applicant
(1)Doctoral program applicant should hold a qualification which is equivalent to or above a Master’s degree from a Chinese university.
(2)Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport, aged less than 45 years
(3)Recommending by two professors or associate professors

(3)Scan copy of notarized diploma and degree certificate (in Chinese or English translation is demanded if the original version is in other languages). For those who are about to graduate, certification of expected graduation should be used to apply for this program.
