There are three buildings which are specially set up for canteens, namely new canteens, the comprehensive canteen, and the second and third canteen. New canteen has three levels. Most of the teachers at Shijiazhuang Tiedao University come to the first level for eating; Muslim window is also set up at this level because of their different eating habits. Many kinds of delicious dishes are cooked; also the price of the food is little more expensive than that of the second and third level. In addition, many students are fond of holding parties at the first level. Noodles and dumplings at the third floor are very welcomed by the students. What’s more, the cost isn’t very high.
The price of the food at the second and third canteen is very cheap, which is most suitable for the general public. Steamed stuffed bun and small hot pot are also very popular. Comprehensive canteen has varieties of dishes that can be seen around the whole China.
Of course, many snack stands are spread outside the campus.
