Answer: The program is fully English medium program.
2. How is the living standard in Tianjin city? What about the canteen in the University?
Answer: The living cost here is reasonable and affordable, for example, around 150 USD for your food cost per month. There are 3 student canteens near the playground, including Muslim canteen.
3. How can I arrive in Tianjin city, the location of University?
Answer: If there is no direct flight to Tianjin, the recommended route is to fly to Beijing and take the direct bus to Tianjin (around 2.5 hours) just inside Beijing Capital International Airport.
4. Can you send a vehicle to take us from the local airport to the University?
Answer: Tianjin Foreign Studies University offers international students Airport Pick-up service from Tianjin Binhai International Airport or Beijing Capital International Airport to the campus. But international students should book in advance and send detailed departure, transfer and arrival schedule to us in advance so that the university can pick up without any delay.
5. How can I exchange some Chinese currency for my pocket money when I just arrived in China?
Answer: Students can exchange some Chinese currency in bank for shuttle/bus ticket fare and pocket money in the big international airport when they arrive in China. And students can buy telephone card from business counter in the airport to give international call and domestic call if students need.

Answer: There is one airport, three train stations and many buses in Tianjin to many cities in China. Tianjin port is the world’s top-level and China’s largest artificial deep water harbor. There are convenient public facilities for telecom and internet, you can buy telecom card to call in any time and there are lots of internet pub for going on internet.

Answer: Tianjin features a four-season, monsoon-influenced climate, typical of East Asia, with cold, windy, very dry winters reflecting the influence of the vast Siberian anticyclone, and hot, humid summers, due to the monsoon. Answer: Even though the program is instructed in English, but international students must study Chinese language according to Ministry of Education, China. Chinese language classes are just offered in the first two years, three times per week, and international students are required to pass the basic level. Besides, it will be helpful for students in daily life if they learn some Chinese language.
