Campus accommodation
University of Nottingham Ningbo China has several buildings designated for international students, building 11, 18 and 120. All rooms are fully furnished and equipped with air conditioning and a telephone and computer point; enabling students to make and receive telephone calls and access the University's data network from their bedrooms.
International Residence Building 11:
All rooms in building 11 are fully furnished and equipped with a private shower room, a toilet and a small balcony. The floor area is 20.2m2. All rooms are for single occupancy. Students share a kitchen on each floor and a public laundry room.
International Residence Building 18:
Accommodation in the Students’ Residence Hall 18 takes the form of fully furnished, four-room flats. Each flat has four private bedrooms, two toilets, one shower room, one washing room and a lounge/common room. The common room is equipped with a fridge, TV set and a few cooking appliances.
International Residence Building 20:
Accommodation in the Students’ Residence Hall 20 takes the form of fully furnished, four-room flats. Each flat has four private bedrooms, two toilets, one shower room, one washing room and a lounge/common room. Unlike Hall 18, Hall 20 does not provide any cooking or electrical appliances in the common room.
Off campus accommodation
International Students have the right to choose to live off-campus, but must go through formal procedure to register with International Office. It is the students' own responsibility to find off-campus accommodation but the International Office will help to provide agent information for students. Chinese law requires all international students to register with the local police station and report to the Public Security Bureau if they wish to live off-campus.
Note: You must be at least 18 years old before you can live off-campus.
