Xi’an International University (XAIU) was founded in 1992 with the accreditation of the nation’s Ministry of Education for its diverse four-year bachelor and three-year vocational programs. Xi’an International University (XAIU) was founded in 1992 and its predecessor is xi 'an foreign affairs service training institute.In 1996, it was approved by the education department of shaanxi province as the first batch of pilot colleges for educational qualifications. In May 2000, it was approved by the people's government of shaanxi province as an ordinary higher vocational college. Until March 2005, it was approved by the ministry of education as an ordinary undergraduate college and changed its name to "xi’an International University". In June 2009, bachelor's degree was awarded and In 2010, the school set up a master training platform for business administration and entrepreneurship.
