Scholarships in Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, China for International Student
Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics also sets up different kinds of Scholarships for International Students.
1. Scholarship for Distinguished Freshmen
(1). Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for English-taught programs shall provide certificate 6.5 or above in IELTS, or 80 in TOEFL.
2. Scholarship for Distinguished Degree Students
(1). Eligibility Criteria
Applicants shall obtain at least 20 credits in the past academic year, with their average score being the top 10% in their class.
3. Individual Scholarships
(1). Eligibility Criteria
Winners shall have good achievements in their study, artistic or athletic performances or the public good.
4. Alumni Scholarship
(1). Eligibility Criteria
Applicants shall continue their undergraduate study in the university after completing over one semester’s Chinese language learning, or continue their graduate study in ZUFE after completing undergraduate study in the university.
5. Family Member Scholarship
(1). Eligibility Criteria
Applicants shall be immediate family members of an international student studying in the university or has graduated from the university, including his/her sisters, brothers, parents, sons, daughters and spouses.
6. Ethic Scholarship
(1). Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for this scholarship are recommended and determined by teachers on the basis of their evaluation of student’s overall performance.
7. Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship
In order to encourage more international students to come and study in Zhejiang Province, improve educational gradation and promote international students' understanding and friendship of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Provincial Government established the “Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students" in 2009.
1. Qualifications for Application
(1). For Master Degree programs, applicants must have a bachelor degree, and be aged no more than 35 years old, having recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors required
(2). For Undergraduate programs, applicants should have graduated from high school and be aged no more than 30 years old
(3). Scholarship applicants must be of foreign nationality and in good physical condition. Applicants should behave well both on and out of campus, and have no records of violating laws and regulations of China or the host university. Applicants should have outstanding academic performance. Applicants who have won other Chinese Government scholarships are not eligible.
