Heilongjiang Provincial Scholarship

Application Procedure for the Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarship Program of Harbin Medical University
 
Harbin Medical University is an institution admitting international students under the Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarship Program. At presently, there are more than 300 international students from over 29 countries in Harbin Medical University. Harbin Medical University enrolls international students from all over the world, who come to study for medical doctoral program, postgraduate program, undergraduate program and short term training.
 
1. Categories of Applicants and Duration of Scholarship
 
Medical Bachelor Degrees
 
(1). Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) students 
 
2. Eligibility
 
(1). Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health and cannot be helped with any other coinciding scholarships.
(2). Applicants must not be currently studying in Chinese universities.
(The students currently in China who graduated for more than one academic year are allowed)
(3). Education background and age limit:
Applicants for bachelor’s degree studies must have a high school transcript and the age should be 18-40. The records of the applicants who apply for the bachelor degree should be over B.
 
3. Application Materials
 
The applicants must fill in and provide the following materials truly and correctly.
 
(1). Application Form.
(2). Scan copy of highest diploma. If applicants are university students or already employed, they should also provide documents of being university students or on-post employees. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
(3). Scan copy of student records (The records of the applicants who apply for the bachelor degree should be over B)
(4). Student studying and research plan. Applicants can use either Chinese or English to give a detailed report about their study and research plan
(5). Applicants for medical postgraduate or master’s program must provide at least two recommendation letters from professors or teaching assistants in either English or Chinese.
(6). Scan copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (printed by Chinese quarantine authority and only for those whose period of studies in China lasts up to six months) filled in English.
(7). Scan copy of Passport
