At Wuhan University School of Medicine, international students for MBBS program are compulsory to finish 1 year internship after 5 years’ theory study of basic science and clinic medicine. 14 affiliated hospitals, among which 3 A-Level Grade three directly affiliated hospitals are responsible for the medical internship of the international students at Wuhan University School of Medicine. Students will be supported with securing working experience, internships and volunteer placements which can help them to develop personal and professional skills that are highly valued by employers. At the same time, you will demonstrate your commitment to your chosen career path.

After finishing 1 year clinical rotation, students are required to pass the examination before conferred Medical Bachelor Degree. For the international students back to their home country after obtaining Medical Bachelor Degree, they may participate in Medical Licensing Examination directly and get the medical license after passing the exam and finishing registration in accordance with the local provisions.
